Keep a song in your heart this holiday season…

Music teacher Ella Baker’s plate is already full. But when single dad Beckett McKinley’s wild twin boys need help preparing a Christmas song for their father, Ella agrees on one condition: they teach her to ride a horse. She’s hoping that’ll help mend her strained relationship with her rancher father; it certainly has nothing to do with the crush that’s lingered since her one and only date with Beck.

It isn’t disinterest spurring Beck to keep his distance—if anything, the spark is too strong, with Ella reminding him of his ex-wife. Soon what started as an innocent arrangement is beginning to feel a lot like family. But with the holidays approaching, Beck and Ella will have to overcome past hurts if they want to keep each other warm this Christmas…

Don’t miss other heartfelt stories from the fan-favorite The Cowboys of Cold Creek mini-series!

Must read

I LOVED this story!! Strong female character - check. Yummy single father cowboy - check. Absolutely adorable kids - double check!! All that wrapped in a fun, emotional, heartwarming story. I always look forward to RaeAnne Thayne's holiday stories and she's surpassed all my expectations this year with a fantastic addition to the Cowboy's of Cold Creek series. Sparks fly when two rambunctious boys find a way to get their rancher father and their very pretty music teacher to spend some time together. Now Beck and Ella just need to find a way to make everything work.

Put this on the holiday must read list! I highly recommend it.

Christmas Music

This story and the characters in it stole my heart, especially the music aspects, which are near and dear to me. Ella Baker, who has taught music in Pine Gulch for a year, will be heading up the program for the annual fundraising event that takes place just before Christmas at The Christmas Ranch. The talent she brings out of these youngsters is amazing, and I love her for it. Single father and rancher, Beckett McKinley, has been raising two very rambunctious seven-year-old sons, Trevor and Colter, who are working with Ms. Baker on a Christmas surprise for their dad in exchange for horse-riding lessons. The relationships built between them was magical. Trevor and Colter were definitely main characters - not just Ella and Beckett. I loved it. It can be read on its own, even though it is part of a series.

With that special voice that we adore, RaeAnne Thayne never fails to wrap a cowboy around our heart and reel us in! She writes endearing characters who have overcome loss and tragedy to go on to thrive and find love. This story brings us a single dad with a set of rowdy twin sons that could try the patience of a saint ... but their teacher happens to adore them ... and their daddy!

Ella Baker has been back in Pine Gulch for over a year now, and is still trying her best to mend her strained relationship with her ailing father. She wishes he could see her as more than just the city upbringing she had with her mother. She's enjoying her job teaching music to the kids of the town, but she wants so much more.

Neighboring rancher Beckett McKinley can't deny he likes seeing Ella around town and working with his son's for the upcoming Christmas pageant, but she reminds him a little too much of his former wife who hated ranch living and wanted the excitement from the city life she was used to. When his boys agree to teach her to ride a horse in exchange for her helping them prepare a song surprise for him for Christmas, he finds himself enjoying her company around his ranch more than he should!
