Publisher Description
Ten years ago, Molly Loring left Demery, South Carolina, with a secret.
She was pregnant with Beau Forrest's baby, but no one could ever know. Because Beau was dead—unaware that he'd even made his longtime girlfriend pregnant before dying in a spectacular car crash.
Now a landscape architect raising their spirited nine-year-old daughter, Liza, Molly returns to restore the historic grounds of Everspring Plantation. She expected only hard work among the winter-bare gardens—unready for the sudden shock of facing the twin who lived.
For all that time, Beau's identical twin, Jackson, has carried his own secret. Haunted by the night he lost his brother, the former track star fled to New York, running from guilt he could never outpace. Yet facing Molly across the river lawn reopens truths buried for ten years—shattering the fragile silence between them.
Beau isn't the father of Molly's baby….
Mistaken Identity: The heirloom gold ring with its carved leaves was supposed to stay on the finger of the eldest Forrest son, but a drunken night of traded roles left a legacy of silence that neither twin could undo.Small Town Setting: Between Lavinia Forrest’s sharp-eyed oversight on the Everspring verandah and the prying eyes of Demery society, keeping a decade-old scandal quiet proves impossible as the town bicentennial approaches.Second Chance: Young Liza builds fantasy worlds on the Planet Cuspian to make sense of the real one, unaware that her innocent bond with Jackson is forcing two wounded hearts to confront what they lost.Forced Proximity: Quartered in the plantation carriage house and thrown together over boxwood mazes and late-night pizza, Molly and Jackson discover that ten years of distance cannot extinguish a dangerous physical pull. Also by This Author: Wild for the Sheriff, Texas Baby and The Rancher's Dream.

Needed a better ending
The story line was good, the character build up was good but the ending was ridiculous ... It just wasn't enough .. Could have been waaay better.
