Leon Wolf, an elite quarterback on a Super Bowl-bound football team, suddenly discovers that he has telepathic ability. At first, it merely seems an advantage in the game, as he can read the minds of his opponents and teammates and anticipate their moves. However, he is then approached by a representative of the mysterious Telepathic Guild and presented with a life-changing proposition.
