The Red Boat

The Red Boat is a short story in which there are no words over four letters. This follows in style the tenth book in the “It’s Fun to Read Series”, “The Big Tan Dog”, which employed only three letter words. 

Children and others learning to read English will enjoy this mini sea story where a young brother and sister sail their small yacht and catch some fish for their dinner. The words used are generally found in conversation except for a few yachting terms that are explained in one of the many colorful illustrations. A few words only over four letters are shown here otherwise it will be fun for the reader to discover that a story can be told in a world where there are no more than four letters.
