The Red Eye Plague of Bumboville

In book two of the Secret of the Treefolk Treasure trilogy, Georgia discovers Bumboville, home to the roly poly beings known as Wobblies. Living among a cluster of tiny islands linked by a maze of connecting bridges, the Wobblies raise chickens and hunt for oysters beneath the drifting branches of towering weeping willows. Wobblies pay in song for the items and services they trade. These are creatures who love to eat and swim and on Sundays parade the streets of Bumboville with their pet birds on a stick.



But troublemaking outsiders, the Shysters, bring word of an impending attack on the Wobblie homeland. Soon an infection of fear spreads among the pudgy creatures and contaminates their otherwise lighthearted personalities. What can Georgia do to avoid a clash between two normally peace-loving parties?
