Clint Adams is in Labyrinth, Texas, hoping to rest his saddle-sore body when he gets a cryptic telegram from a friend. Saloon-owner Rick Hartman wants Clint to meet him at the Red Queen Hotel in San Francisco...yesterday. 


After high-tailin' it West, Clint finds his friend gambling with his life—just to buy the Red Queen. Seems another prospective buyer decided to weed out the competition with a well-placed bullet. Looks like Rick's luck held, seeing as he's survived the shooting...barely. And now—with the help of the fiery owner of the Red Queen—the Gunsmith must out-bluff a gang of hired killers...
