Keeps you guessing
The book begins with Melanie in trunk of car going toward a certain death. Then the book goes through the events that led her to being in a trunk. Her life was one of luxury until she disappointed her parents and was told to leave. She then meets a man who sets a series of events into motion that could lead to her death. She meets Tom and quickly is pregnant. Tom is a part of a church that believes members should look and act a certain way. Melanie isn’t good at doing what others want which causes Tom problems. When members of church find out about Melanie’s past, Tom is given choice of how to resolve the problem but what will he choose? Will he regret that decision? Will Melanie die or will she outsmart everyone? This book had me guessing all the way through and the ending wasn’t what I thought would happen. I loved this book!
