Co-workers … to parents!
Sexy, sweet and tension filled! If you've been reading along with the Christmas in Manhattan series at all, you will recognize the Davenport family. It's been a great series, and Penny might just turn out to be my favorite one yet! She's sassy and doesn't act like she comes from the glamour and prestige that we know she does. She's definitely one of those characters that is a breath of fresh air where what you see is what you get. I really enjoyed going on this journey with her and her sexy doc!
Paramedic/rescue pilot Penny Davenport leads a daring and fun-filled life, but for her partner in the air Dr. Gabriel Jackson, she's a whirlwind that is hard to keep grounded! When a risky turn of events lead them stranded for the night, they have a slip up in the resistance they had built around their attraction for each other and spend a passion filled night together. No harm no foul, they decide to forget it ever happened ... until she finds out their romp has left them with a baby on the way!
Gabriel guards himself with a wall around his emotions after a disastrous marriage in his past, so he has to work really hard to let himself get closer to Penny ... and the fact that she's a daredevil who doesn't want to be reigned in doesn't make for an easy-going transition into parents-to-be. Will they find that the baby isn't the only thing drawing them towards each other in the end?
