The Rider and the Pony

An Evocation of Friendship
When I draw images I sense that I am summoning qualities within myself.

In this way, my drawings are prayers bringing to the surface of my thoughts more of what I desire. 

For that reason, I have chosen cosmic spirals, ponies and riders, hunters, and raptors. 

The symbol of the cosmic spiral. 

It is called the Golden Ratio, or the Fibonacci Sequence. It is a mathematical equation found in everything from exploding stars to atoms and everything in between. Some have called it the signature of the gods. 

The rider, the pony, and the condor. 

Those who love horses and birds don’t experience these beings as creatures of lesser intelligence than themselves. They greet both in the way one forms friendships with those from foreign nations. And like friends, they understand the language of the heart which is trust. 

Friends discover each other with a deep admiration for their uniquely complimenting qualities.

The language of ponies is strength, speed, and four-footed grace. 

The language of birds is far distant vision and sky. 

The language of humans is their connection to earth and heaven. 

Blessed Trinity. Pony, rider, condor. 

In this way, their friendship is a prayer.
