Walker returns to the small Southern town of McKay's Treasure, Miss., to conclude her McKays trilogy (after The Trouble with Temptation) with a well-written mix of terror, passion, and intricate plotting. Gideon Marshall has loved Moira McKay since they were teenagers, but Moira's parents were killed in a car accident after Moira and her mother had a fight, and Moira is still convinced that she doesn't deserve to be happy. Gideon's just about to finally give up on her, but first he wants to find out who's behind the escalating attacks on the McKays, which have left several people dead. When Moira is assaulted on her own property, it soon becomes clear that the culprit may be someone she knows. It's easy to ache for Moira, and equally easy to want to shake some sense into her for throwing love away with both hands. Walker creates a gruff and believable character in Gideon and a fast-paced plot that will keep readers guessing until the end. She delivers the grand revelation with a surprise twist (and a somewhat gory finale). Readers will be sorry that this is the last visit, at least for the foreseeable future, to McKay's Treasure.

riveting and highly entertaining
Moira McKay has had the proverbial bee in her bonnet about McKay’s Treasure’s Marshall Gideon from the beginning of this series and we are finally getting their story.
Holding the torch, Gideon watched as the tough as nails and head of the McKay family kept everything together, but the pain is too much. Gideon has finally come to a place where he is moving on…and it’s just when Moira needs him the most.
Can Moira give Gideon a second chance and will Gideon be willing to turn his heart back over to Moira once again? It will be a matter of life and death.
Let’s be honest, Moira’s and Gideon’s reasons for their estrangement really didn’t work for me…BUT, I found myself white knuckle reading. So here’s my conundrum, characters that make stupid choices causing years of unhappiness always fry my nerve and still I wanted more of Gideon and Moira electrifying sexual tension. Walker still writes a story that I found riveting and above all highly entertaining. In the end, I’m giving The Right Kind of Trouble 4.5 stars.
