A fitting title for the long arduous journey that lay ahead for these boys turned old men.
Quite possibly the best book I have ever read. Many things I read in here I asked my father about and he too feels the same. This might be the book that most accurately recreates what former soldiers feel once home. A compelling read from start to finish that truly immersed me in every character and made me feel as if I knew these men first hand.
