Tougher read
Typically have enjoyed CLo’s books but this was a book I flipped through sort of fast towards the end just to be done with it. The science plot was was pretty unbelievable and I don’t think the book was speaking about science in a sophisticated way. It wasn’t a good romance novel but wasn’t thought provoking enough to be classified as good sci-fi or mystery. I would recommend reading when available at the library vs. buying.
DNF’d at 18%
The more I read, the less I was interested. I just got to the “fateful accident” mentioned in the blurb, and I have such a bad case of the icks over this God complex, I can’t continue. I don’t even want to force myself to try, and that’s saying something.
