He's supposed to protect her, NOT fall in love.
Stunning. That's the first word that comes to mind when I see the brilliant, curvy beauty performing comedy in a club. At the time I didn't know who she was.
With the soul of an artist and the spirit of a warrior, Pippa is gorgeous, quirky, and unique.
She's also my friend's little sister.
After getting fired from my job as a detective and promptly hired by the Cerberus group, my first assignment is to protect Seth's little sister, Pippa.
Someone has been threatening Pippa and her crew. It is my job to uncover the culprit, while keeping her safe.
As their chemistry and the danger both heat up, Dillon will stop at nothing to keep her safe and... make her his.
Buy The Rookie today for a tantalizing tale of simmering passion, forbidden love, and the complexities of duty.

The Rookie
Pippa is the mermaid comic and has had threats but she doesn't want her brother Seth to find out. Dillion is a new team member at Cerberus and best friends with Seth. Dillion was a Chicago Police Officer until they made him the scapegoat for what happened with Samantha's case. In this fourth installment Dillion is trying to figure out who is sending threats to Pippa. BDSM is mentioned but nothing like the other books in the series. Loved it!
Great book! This author knows how to construct characters so that they are so interesting and you could absolutely believe that they are real. The same for the story line. I’ve read the series so far and this book is as good as those before. I so recommend this book. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Absolutely loved Pippa and Dillon
Absolutely loved Pippa and Dillon. Both characters are major alphas, even though Dillon is the Dom and Pippa is the sub. The storyline is well thoughout, the dialogue is perfect and sometimes downright hilarious. This is a great addition to the Club Southside series and one that is definitely worth reading. The only problem is, I can’t give it a higher rating than a 5 because this story definitely qualifies.
