Let your homeless best friend stay with you, he said. Being roommates will be fun, he said. It's only temporary, he said.
He never said I'd fall for him.
You know what isn't 'temporary?' The endless stream of dirty socks in my bathroom and empty food packets under the sofa—and don't even get me started on the hot guys who take over my living room every Sunday to watch sports.
I can't take anymore.
So I propose a roommate agreement. One that will bring peace and order back to my life, complete with rules that might just stop my newfound crush on my best friend in its tracks.
After all, there’s only so many times you can see your best friend naked before you start to lose your mind.
Rules. They're meant to be broken... Aren't they?
The best pants are no pants
Emma Hart's books never cease to amaze me and this book followed suit and had me hooked from the very beginning.
Shelby is a tad OCD when it comes to certain aspects of her life. She is struggling writer that knows to meet ends she need a roommate to pay rent/bills. When Shelby's best friend is about to be homeless she decides to take him in, expecting it to only last a few months.
Jay is your typical male. He tends to leave things every where and this drives Shelby crazy. Jay runs one of his father's gym and tends to have many of the guys over to watch sports, which again drives Shelby crazy and also hinders her work.
What happens when these best friends/roommates start to realize that their feelings have started to change? Will they risk the 20 plus years of friendship for true love?
Emma has a way with words that keeps you fully invested in the book. These words also engross all types of emotion, from laughter, love to hate/upset at the characters.
I can't wait to be sucked into another one of Emma's book.
Cute story, few laughs. While it held my interest when I was reading the book, it didn’t grab my full attention. When ever I put it down I wasn’t in any hurry to complete, whatever, task to get back to it. Took me a few days to complete. But as I stated cute story.
Couldn’t finish it
Maybe would have been a good story had it not been rushed. Don’t really get a chance to know the characters
