We loved the smoldering heat between these two. But their story is full of tender moments, too, like when Claire helps Graham recover from a rock-climbing injury that leaves him unable to speak (resulting in some sweet notes and hilarious email exchanges). Filled with memorable characters—Graham’s moody Yorkshire terrier, Gertrude, is a definite highlight—The Roommate Pact is a pitch-perfect tale of finding love when you least expect it.

Wine glass in hand, Claire muses about the dearth of datable guys, leading her into a pact with Graham that they'll hook up at 40 if nothing better turns up, just to satisfy their sex drives. Adrenaline junkie Graham is in no rush for a relationship himself, preferring camping, climbing, and mountain biking to checking in with a significant other at home. Then a climbing accident leaves Graham seriously banged up and, as Claire helps nurse him back to health, they realize just how much they already mean to each other. But will either be brave enough to make their feelings known? Claire and Graham's chemistry jumps off the page, and Ashley surrounds them with charming friends (including some familiar faces for series fans), family, and a tiny dog named Gertrude. Friends-to-lovers fans are sure to be pleased.

I really wish we could give half points. Inread this book in a day. That says something. I really enjoyed it. As with most books, I wish we could get one more chapter to round out the resolution. But overall, a quick and easy story to enjoy.
Slow burn
They are funny, cute, amazing and such loves me characters! What a great read I finished it in less than a day.

Page turner and a lot of fun to read! The last few chapters felt a little overdone to me but the ending was perfect. Would totally read again.
