Publisher Description

This is not a self righteous book.  If you are on a healing journey, I am not going to tell you that you are broken.  I am going to share my personal rescue story.  It is simple and powerful.  It is where the spiritual meets the practical.  In 2009, after six months of searching for the real cause of the excruciating pain and swelling of my left leg, I was diagnosed with stage 3C ovarian cancer.  Next I figured out my part in the puzzle, and carried it out daily.  I reached for the rope, and was pulled out of the quicksand.  I kept this visualization alive in my healing journey.  The rope came in many forms: people, knowledge, intuition, determination, and spirituality.  With each rope, I made many discoveries which I share with you here.  I discovered a secret:  how to determine my own state of being, which gave me peace of mind from one moment to the next.  I figured out simple actions that improved how I felt physically and helped reduce my chemo side effects.  I noticed what foods made me feel the best, and even include some recipes.  As of writing this book in September, 2012, three years after starting treatment, I am free of disease.

I hope you will be inspired to reach for your own discoveries.  Everyone has their own unique journey.  I am not a doctor, nor do I wish to tell people what to think or do.  I only wish to lift your spirit and inspire you through the telling of my own story.

This wonderful little powerhouse of a book is filled with practical insights and heartfelt inspiration into the journey of healing. As a healthcare provider I wish all of my patients could read this book. As a person, I wish everyone could meet the author.
