The safe place is a gripping memoir, pulling at your heart and soul, drawing you in to the story - a personal story. The writing is vivid and engaging. I could hardly put it down. I was drawn into the story telling and imagery; I felt many emotions traveling along with Tristan and knowing much of this is true. It’s at times, heartbreaking. The steady themes of love, faith and redemption carry the book though. Hope is alive, and healing is not only possible it’s intended.
You must read this book to understand and love more deeply, broaden your perspectives on people’s lives and the trauma they face and have the strength to overcome. It’s a gift, thank you for bravely telling your story and sharing your testimony with us as readers and friends. 🙏🏼
