It's about an over-enthusiastic reader's obsession with an imagined link between two of his favorite authors in American Literature - and with Anti-Semitism. He finds some wild facts about these writers and creates a maze- that he can't get out of. It is Fiction! It is Humor! - but Duck won't believe it. If this ever gets pitched in Hollywood as a movie idea, the description "THE DAVINCI CODE meets ANIMAL HOUSE" might be appropriate. You gotta meet this guy.
