Very good start. Looking forward to the rest of the novel. Jenna has a great blog on YouTube about writing and publishing.
This book is confused.
The story is really good, as can be expected from Jenna. But the style and word choice, as well as the variety of sentence structure, make the book seem a bit childish. It’s fast paced in some places but it wil slow down dramatically in some spots. She’s still a pretty new author, this is only he second book, so that is to be expected. I though the same thing about Eve: the Awakening. But the story line and subplots are well structured and the characters were compelling, so it’s still a pretty good book.
