The Scars

I randomly stumbled across this audiobook recently, and, although I felt as though I was walking on a thin line and curious with tension as to where certain elements of the storyline were going, all the threads ended satisfyingly well. I definitely recommend sticking with it through the end. Not only for the story itself, but I really enjoyed the author's amazingly talented reading voice. For me, it really added another level to the experience. The only problem I'm having is finding ANY way to learn more about the author, to find more of his work, or follow him on social platforms. The twitter account (@wllmtnnnt) he listed when the audiobook was originally posted in 2009, doesn't seem to exist anymore. Help! William Tennant - if you read this, please let me know! I downloaded this book because I was desperate to listen to something more substantial than the music (even my own) through the speakers of my Jeep as I drove hundreds of miles for my job. I had listened to quite a few books on cd/tape but, none quite like this one. The story is utterly captivating. Which is, to say the least. I have a difficult time with audio books because I cannot take the dreadful voice of most readers. This book is so different.
I was completely enthralled. The story AND the reader (which, I believe is the author) had me hanging with every word.
I downloaded this book as a podcast and spent lots of time online finding out when the next segment would be available.
This is, hands down, THE best audio book out there.
I absolutely love it....every aspect.
I have listened to books that were really good but, the voice of the reader turned me off. Not in this case. This is absolutely phenomenal. After listening to The Scars, I am a die hard William Tennant fan and I tell everyone about him.
