Hair Biology

It is very informative. It gives not only African American Women, but other women a better understanding of what hair is and what it's building blocks are. The terminology is not hard to grasp at all, it is like the author says: the information is provided through a high school level biology textbook. The diagrams are helpful as well. If anyone is having a problem with creating and maintaing healthy looking and feeling hair, I recommend this book. I hope this helps!

A Black Woman MUST HAVE!

Any Blake woman who is on a serious hair care journey should dive into this book. Don’t skip any chapters!!! Even the naturals should read the chapters specifically for the creamy crack girls—just for knowledge. This book is an easy yet educational book to read. It’s enlightening yet smooth to the reading eye. I am able to understand and appreciate everything I am reading. The author and editors did an amazing job!
