The Scotch King
Joseph Ingram made the mistake of stealing from me—four million dollars. He took my intelligence without paying for it. And thought he could get away with it.
Now I'll take something from him—something irreplaceable.
But even when Joseph doubles the amount of money he owes me, I don't give her up.
Nope. I have an image to maintain.
So I keep her.
And I'm not giving her up.
The Scotch Queen
I wasn't sure what changed my mind about giving London to Bones, but something did.
Now London is officially mine. She's sassy, feisty, and she still tells me off when I have her under my thumb.
I love it.
Now I have a deal with the Barsetti brothers, Josephine is still pining for me, and revenge is heavy on my mind. I'm not sure what to do with London now that I'm not gonna kill her.
But I'm certainly not going to fall in love with her.
The Scotch Royals
London is a lot more useful than I anticipated. She gets me what I need like a pro.
With her by my side, I feel like I can do anything.
My need for revenge is dimmed. My anger is contained.
But her brother is still a problem. She wants me to let him go.
I'm not sure if I can.

I seriously couldn’t put these books down! This was the best set I have read so far and way better than fifty shades ever thought about being! I seriously loved every bit of it and it kept me on the edge the whole way through.
I didn’t read the preview before I started the book and now I’m just sick I couldn’t read much because it felt like Rape and it was just wrong. Idk how it has such a high rating. I’m not into it!
Spent a Friday night and Saturday morning on this
First, the story lost all appeal with romance when he backhands her and strips her naked before he presents her to Bones as being for sale. I don’t care what happened after that, any man who struck or stripped me as a means of shaming and showing someone the goods has no redeeming qualities. It was humiliating and dehumanizing. But, he decides to keep her for is own entertainment.
However, I kept reading. I did contemplate stopping and deleting the series after the initial “hard pass, if someone thinks this is love, they’ve got some twisted daddy issues.”
Dialogue at times just wasn’t realistic. Someone working in illegal businesses wouldn’t speak the way they do, especially in public, or with a witness. TRUE criminals don’t leave the window open for someone to eventually be their downfall. Anyone that is a potential threat is usually killed off.
The 180s of multiple characters was fast and seemed like “well, this has to happen so we get the HEA.” That, and the quick bounce back to dating men after the months of captivity. Why would she not want to get her life in order first, and how is she not in therapy??
The amount of f*cking was astronomical. For as much sex as they have, they should have beenin the hospital for exhaustion and on IV fluids trying to rehydrate. Very repetitive and I ended up skimming over most because it’s “she’s dripping wet, he’s 9 inches, they f*ck” again and again.
The internal monologues were contradictory to who they were supposedly were supposed to be as characters. It was off-putting.
HOWEVER, I kept reading. So to you, Penelope Sky, I tip my hat because normally when I am not a fan of all of the above, I close the book, delete it, and move on. It held my attention and I was curious to see how things played out? HEA was expected, and I wasn’t focused on that, just the other aspects of the story.
