The story is about Navy SEAL, Jamie Hawthorn and women's basketball champion and high school coach, Charlie Stannard. Jamie's always wanted Charlie but she's always been more concerned with basketball, college and proving that she's nothing like her less than stellar mother. It's been 10 years since he seen her and he's tired of waiting to make her his.
Jamie is a fantastic, larger than life Navy SEAL. I needed more emotions and more real reactions from Charlie. I feel like Charlie spoke in a monotone the entire story. In spite of this, the story line was great. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
