People have been transfixed since recorded time by a mystical connection to the sea. The crash of waves and their musical quality. The life sustaining waters feeding villages fish and farmers maize.
The roar of the oceans promise adventure, travel and sparkling treasure from exotic parts unknown. If there are secrets to the sea they hide in the songs of mermaids and merlot of finer vintage.
I am drawn to “What Thunder Hides” and “The Shaping Of Clouds” as stellar verse solidifying the true balance achieved in this collection aiming to demonstrate the dimensions of consonance and dissonance.
