About the author
Elisabeth’s writing career began when she finished third in Harlequin’s So You Think You Can Write contest in 2013 and hasn't looked back. She teaches Primary school but would rather write full time because unlike five year olds her characters generally do what she tells them. She spends most of her spare time reading and is a pro at cooking one-handed while holding a book.
She lives in Cheshire because the car broke down there in 1999 and she never left.

Interesting Read
After secret agent & nursing training in England, Sylvia/Sylvie is sent to a town in France during WWII. The Germans are already occupying the town where she is stationed to work as an undercover agent for the French resistance. Growing up, she’s lived & learned the art of song & dance in a traveling troupe of entertainers of which her mother is a major performer. With a single mother, Sylvia/Sylvie learns much more about humanity & relationships than a prepubescent girl should ever know. When her mother dies, the biological father comes into play momentarily & takes Sylvia/Sylvie back to his wife & they raise her as a boarding-school daughter to be prim & proper. As the war escalates in 1944, Sylvie comes to France & into her secret spy world disguised as an entertainer in a night club where she finds a heart-home, mystery, intrigue, challenges & heartbreak that keep you reading & wondering how the horrors of war will end for her & her newfound family of entertainers.
