You can run from your past, but it will always catch up with you…
Susie was forced to do something she will always regret. Everything that led to the choice she made had to be buried and forgotten.
Her secret echoes down through the years, tainting everything it touches. Her husband wonders why his wife is so distant. Her daughters can’t understand their changeable mother.
Susie knows her past is pushing her family apart, and the guilt is eating her up, but she can’t escape from the consequences of what she has done. No-one but Susie knows the whole story, and when her daughters discover a piece of the puzzle, she must face the question she has struggled with for most of her life:
Would the truth bring them back together, or break them?

The Secret Child
This was a great book! As soon as I finished reading this book, I immediately bought the other two books by Kerry Fisher. Couldn’t put the book down. I look forward to many more books by Ms. Fisher.
The Secret Child
Definitely a book I could not put down. The author was able to tap into a lifetime of emotions of the character with such an accuracy that you would believe it was real. It made me look at life differently and understand that the secrets people hold shape and define them as a person. I will recommend this book to anyone.
The Secret Child
I cried in a couple of places, mostly at the end. Why does it take us whole lifetimes to see mistakes we’ve made? That’s the big question! Awesome book, not the best written, not even a novel premise, just a gentle reminder of how the choices made in ones life can impact those around us, for that it’s 5 stars from me! And one needs a good cry now and again to sweep the sinuses clean!
