The Secret Mother (Borland)
This book was very exceptional compared to other books online and off. I read a lot so it is hard for me to find books that are great Authors. This is one of those books. The characters, story, and the one thing that makes it stand out the most is the human emotional turmoil. Not just with one character but the whole interaction is real. Also it does not fill a whole chapter with boring sex scenes. Written almost word for words each time. All the authors have to do is hit highlight clip move the cursor to a new chapter, hit paste and the chapter is taken care of not only in the book you’re reading but all in the series.
Also the author is good at finding misspelled Wordsworth has a great, no awesome proof reader who I encourage you to give a raise!
To sum it up there are good strong characters with real emotions that flow from the pen of Borland. There are no sentences that are written poorly where you need to read them several times, no boring sex scenes identical to the last three that took up almost while chapters. It’s real, believable, emotional and could have come straight from a diary of someone’s life. For me it was a page turner to the end but I wanted to read slow, and savor the one of the few good books I have read in a long time. Exceptional job Borland I Hope you keep your talent firmly in your pen and don’t lose your grin. Thanks for the great read.
This book was amazing, seriously could not put it down once I started reading it.
*spoilers* Not sure how this book became #1 on the top charts, unless it’s because of the low price. The premise was good and it could have been a great, suspenseful read, but I found it to be very predictable and poorly written. I ended up skimming through entire paragraphs of superfluous, annoying yammering just to get to the point. It may also have helped to not have the outcome given away in the title...that alone proves that this author is not the best at employing the element of surprise.
