The Senator's Daughters

The US Government has been broken for years, so it wasn't surprising to see another government shutdown. This time would be different, however, when the state of California decides to secede, causing the thin bonds of statehood and family to be threatened.
At the start of it all are three women- Daughters of the US Senate Majority Leader, they find their lives ripped apart as a consequence of a long-stagnated US government, increasingly corrupt local governments, and California's fight for independence from the United States.
The Breaking Unity series follows the lives of people from across the United States as they struggle to adapt during and after the fall of the United States government.
