Sparks the genius
I didn’t know what to expect at first. Seb, a hot head, and Sparks, a thief. Thrown in prison, on the run, neither of them really trusting the other, until they finally do. They were made for The Shadow Order.
Hook-Line-Sinker
I just finished a series and was on the hunt for another. I was first presented with the box set of the first 3 novels, but I wasn’t ready to commit to all 3. I found that they were separate, and tried this one out.
This book had me on the edge of my seat!! I was on an emotional roller coaster. It only took me a week to finish the book, but I had to constantly take breaks to reset my emotions before I started reading again. I love the detail of the descriptions about the places, characters, observations, etc. I could imagine myself actually being there. The character could have a little more depth to them, but they were still good. I did not see things ending the way that it did, but it was enough to get me to read the next book. This book isn’t some showstopper, but it was still very pleasant.
My only critique would be about the ending of the book. This one ended so abruptly. I wish it was drawn out ever so slightly more.
Enjoyable read
I am an avid reader of space opera and sci fi.
I saw this in the free books section and wanted to give it a read as I have not heard about this author.
It was a quick, fun, and an enjoyable read. I went in with an open mind and liked it and am looking forward to the next book.
No spoilers, just wanted to say it was a fun read and I recommend it.
