There wasn’t much you would call special about thirteen-year-old Aaron Miles. Being a ‘birthy,’ at All Saints Boy’s home in east Chicago meant that he was little more than a bed and a file number. Aaron’s life was about to change. With the unwitting help of a local bully, Aaron would take his first shadow ride and learn that he is the key to the salvation of two worlds. Aaron must choose; follow his destiny as the shadow rider, save the light and bring peace, or abandon his lineage and allow both worlds to fall into eternal darkness.
