The Shadow Warrior

Jake Salter grew up poor.  His family lived from paycheck to paycheck with little hope of improving their station in life.  He realized his only escape route was to get an education.  He joined the military, hoping to accomplish this through the GI Bill.  With a dream of making a difference, and not afraid of taking risks, he became a helicopter pilot and was selected for specialized training.   He earned a position as an Army Ranger and developed extensive skills in counter-insurgency warfare.

The hectic pace of training finally subsided, and Jake, with his best friend Zack, received orders to Panama.  On arrival, they found another opportunity waiting.  Without hesitation, they transferred from the Army Rangers to Black Operations in South America.  The Shadow War against the drug cartels was full of twists and turns they never imagined, and the months that followed were full of incidents, where it was kill or be killed.
