Sophie Shields has been captured by the man she's been trying to escape for most of her life...
This time, no one can save her. Not even Cole.
Benjamin Powell is the powerful politician who molested Sophie when she was only a child. She changed her name, her hair color, and moved across the country multiple times to get away from him, but her enemy has been intent on finding her.
And when he finally has her in his grasp, he will make her pay for abandoning him and leaving him crippled.
Unless Snow can stop him.
But this man is so evil that even Snow, the violent, unhinged, fearless part of Sophie, begins to feel afraid.
Will Sophie ever break free and see Cole again?
Wow... I’m speechless
What a crazy, intense, thrill ride. I don’t think I could survive what Scar/Snow has been through. I was cheering so hard for her to defeat her demons, and satisfied with the ending.
The Shatterproof Heart
There were so many disturbing things in this book, that I literally had nightmares! I’m not sure what happened in this series to drop it to a X level from a PG in the first book, but that’s where it went. The descriptions of the abuse and fighting were too much to stomach, and I will not be reading this author again. It’s too bad, because the storyline was different and kind of fun to follow, but too many disturbing images!
