Staying in the dragon world meant two things for Sheikh Zahak, the dragon prince.
1) He would have to see Sultana’s face day in and day out. No helping there!
2) He would have to remember all those nights. Those scorching, burning him inside out, utterly irresistible nights he had with her when their bodies had made wild promises to each other, without him realising it.
3) He would have to see the hurt in her eyes, which he hates to say, that he finds utterly earth-shattering itself. He has hurt her enough without adding much to the pile.
