Easy read but a huge flaw
The book was easy to read. There were a lot of characters and everyone had a story which kept the reader entertained. But there was one huge flaw at the very beginning of the story that I personally could not get past.
The heroine is sent to the hero by her dying husband who had been ambushed and gut shot. Unbeknownst to her, he has written a letter to his friend asking him to care for and marry his wife. Let’s not even touch on the fact that this man, near death’s door, is able to get paper, a writing implement, the deed to his ranch, and an envelope on his own in order to compose this letter. That’s bad enough but not once in this lengthy letter does he mention who shot him or why or provide any information about his murder. Did I mention the letter’s recipient is the local sheriff?
This flaw hung like a shadow over the book and prevented me from thoroughly becoming invested.

Loved, loved this book...writing was very good story line flowed & characters were very described making you feel that you were right there with them!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🏻
