Glowing characters who are unusual making this a truly wonderful story (Jack and Teddy). The secondary characters are those we knew from Alexander's previous novels, and they continue to have the charm we liked them for in their own stories. The dialogue is excellent between all, and the plot moves along with some unusual twists. I disagree with the PWR that said it plodded along. Also I disagree with their comment that it is all about the dresses. Did PRW and I read the same novel??? However, a good book that was an interesting and very good reading right to the very last page?
