Now, he's on the ragged edge of burnout. His nights are plagued by twisted dreams. He's beginning to doubt if he can ever live a normal life—and he's right to think so.
When a power adversary from Wells's past finds him, he must once again enter the fray. For his country. For his soul. For revenge....
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Former Edgar Award winner Berenson returns with another top-notch spy thriller that is as realistic and unnerving as anything in the genre today. After his fianc e and partner is severely injured in an attack, CIA agent John Wells tours the world in search of revenge. With a cast of international characters, narrator George Guidall has a tough task on his tongue luckily, he comes through with a rousing performance that captures the dialogue with ease and holds listeners' attention from start to finish. Guidall's tone is gritty, dry and speckled with an underlying sense of realism that makes this story all the more frightening. A Putnam hardcover (Reviews, Dec. 15).

Wow!
Excellent and the series gets better!
Slow
Honestly disappointed in this book. Endless needless dialogue. Reads like the author.......whom I normally enjoy....had to meet a deadline. About 1\3 of the book moves along while 2/3 drags along. I find myself just skipping over so much of it. Sorry.
Best Ever!!!
I loved this book so much I want to take it behind the elementary school and make it pregnant.
