The Sinister Auction

What if an auction chose you before you ever placed a bid?

When Logan Calder and his friend Charlie discover a mysterious late-night auction hidden beneath an abandoned warehouse, they expect to find rare antiques and unusual collectibles. Instead, Blackwell Auction House is filled with strange objects carrying histories no ordinary auctioneer would ever reveal. The bidders are just as mysterious, and the deeper the boys venture into the auction, the more they begin to suspect they have entered a place that shouldn't exist at all.

Then Lot 20 appears. Logan never bids on the antique pocket watch, never agrees to a price, and never chooses to take it home. Somehow, the watch leaves the auction with him anyway. Soon its hands begin moving backward, strange voices seem to whisper from inside it, and every attempt to get rid of it fails.

Determined to understand what Blackwell wants from him, Logan and Charlie begin investigating the auction and the history of the watch. What they uncover points to previous owners, unexplained disappearances, and a disturbing system of bargains where money isn't always the price. At Blackwell, every transaction follows its own rules, and the auction has already decided that Logan owes a debt.

As the watch continues its countdown and the deadline for final settlement approaches, Logan and Charlie must uncover why Lot 20 chose him and what Blackwell intends to collect when time runs out. Escaping the auction will mean discovering its secrets before Logan becomes part of the watch's history himself.

At Blackwell Auction House, everything has a price. And some bargains cost far more than you ever agreed to pay.
