The PWF series has produced so many wonderful books and Michelle Pillow’s series is among those that have proved entertaining and also reinforced the spirit of independent woman and loyal friendships. This book brings back Heather, Vivian, Lorna, use and even Grandma Julie’s ghost to help out Kari who has returned to her home town.
Kari returns home to an evil grandmother with some horrific plans.
She meets Angel, a love interest her grandmother would not appreciate. Together with the help of her new friends they work to overcome the evil that could devastate Kari’s future. A fast paced suspenseful exciting story with the addition of wonderful characters from previous books in the series. Suggest the series is read in order.

Our little magical family welcomes Kari! Kari has always been lonely, raised by a grandmother who was unfeeling , manipulative and demeaning. Finding her ring and meeting the gang is a little out of her element, but she finds out quickly that sometimes family is wh you choose to be in your tribe. Lots of excitement and a few unexpected twists kept me reading past my bedtime!

In this book by Michelle M. Pillow, Kari’s grandma died and with it she found out some dark secrets about her family but especially about her grandma. She also finds friends who stick by her and a new love. This book was so good that I couldn’t put it down. There were so many twists and surprises in it.
