This series is one of the few where I have read each book at least three times. I think the characters are well developed and it is a great story. I cannot wait for the next book.

I am a huge fan of this series , bought the books as soon as they appeared . But i was dissapointed when i read the skull throne , in my opinion it was not as good as the first three , many many chapters felt like filling to lead to a fifth book , while it could have ended with the fourth book if more focus was given to arlen and jardir's quest instead of all these chapters on what happened in their leave .

Are you kidding me?!?? This was the most infuriating book I have ever read. 20 or so straight chapters of LEESHA FN PAPER!!! REALLY?!??!! One chapter for Arlen and Jadir who are the only characters people care about?!! Im horribly disappointed in this book. I demand better Mr. Brett!!

I love the story. However, the way the dialogue has evolved throughout the series is maddening. I have read all 3 and probably will not be able to finish the 4th. The characters' use of language seems become more stereotypical with each page. It hurts my eyes...

Enjoyed the book but it did not really advance major plot lines. This was supposed to be a five book series and if so there was a lot of heavy lifting left for the fifth book. I just hope that this is not another Jordan/Martin thing where the author was written themselves into a corner and has no idea on how to get out of it.

Almost lost faith in the author and this series halfway through this book. Fantasy writers have a tendency to drag on a story unwilling to sacrifice characters or commit to advancements in the story line... I was wrong!!!

4 books into the series and you just now kill off the best characters. smh

Normally all the books in this series are a 5++ star. This one is not on "par" with the other 3.

To be honest I feel Mr Brett rushed this one. I think all his fans are at fault for that. We want it fast. We are all so enamored with this world he has created, we need more! Well, personally I would have him write them at his pace not at what we want!

Mr. Brett thank you for the great stories. I can't wait for the next installment..

I will be re-reading the entire series 6-7 times before the new one comes out I'm sure!

Incredible story, the book series keeps getting more and more intense I can't wait for the fifth book.

So deliciously in-depth and detailed, with plenty of both action and character development of multiple great characters. I loved it!
