Publisher Description
This enhanced eBook series is a Winner of the 2015 Family Choice Award (and the Kindle version won a Reader's Favorite Seal)!
Snake has a tender belly that hurts when he crawls. He asks Horse how to become a horse, thinking it will solve his problems. On Horse's advice, Snake attempts to eat grass, neigh and "walk," and he pushes through this suffering even when friends make fun of him. This is not a typical "Be content with who you are" book, but rather "Working hard toward a goal changes you into something more." Which is why in the end (don't spoil the surprise) Snake turns into a SNORSE! A metaphorical example of how we all change after accomplishing hard things.
Add to your cart this fully-illustrated children's picture book about overcoming obstacles with hard work, perseverance and friendship. Tapping the stars in this eBook launches over 70 animations with sound effects. Tie Snake's tongue in a knot, send a herd of horses galloping, stick on band-aids, and much more. The dramatized narration (with music) assists early readers as they listen to the narrator reading the words. And the sound effects engage the interest of kids 3-7.
