This book had good writing, great characters and a very good story line, needless to say, I liked and recommend it to anyone. schuyler
Extremely Good!
It's been awhile since I read anything as interesting, fast paced, and multilayered. This book has all the elements you want in an adventure, and has a strong female protagonist. Valerie is a girl many of us can relate to on some level...the universal feeling of or fear of rejection, aloneness, and abandonment are there, but Valerie is no whiner. There is emotion and mental distress and joy, there are intriguing lands, there are villains and heroes, and strange family connections. I cannot wait until I get the next book in the series.
