Dragons, wicked magic tournaments, and generations of prophecy come together for this explosive fourth book in this lush fantasy series that New York Times bestselling author Susan Dennard called "perfect for fans of Sarah J Maas."
War is on the horizon.
All while a new power grows strong, threatening the very balance of good and evil.
Desperate to save her homeland, Cyrene goes in search of the dragons that may be the key to ending this battle—and heal her dying friend.
Can Cyrene master her magic to save the world?
600 pages. And every page is soooo needed! I didn’t think I could love this series anymore and then BANG! KA Linde knocks me for a loop- AGAIN! I mean DRAGONS people! Who knows what she will do next in this EPIC series, but I can’t wait!
This series gets me every time!!
What. In. The. World!! First off - 600 pages! Are you kidding me! I'm a firm believer in the bigger the better (tell someone who isn't), but whoa! While it is on the larger size, the time and story fly by. Before you know it the ending is upon you and you're wishing you had stopped and put it down, taken a few more breathers, and really absorbed it all. The story pulls you in that much. It's action-packed, fast-paced, and so wonderful. Getting to really know these characters and learn all of the ins and outs was so great. I really couldn't stop reading! Ms. Linde always ensures that her stories have great world building! You always get a sense of adventure out of this series! Just be prepared for that ending! She's also known for her insane endings and The Society was no different!
The best yet!!
You guys!! This is the best one yet. I don’t even want to think about how awesome the next one will be because it’s going to end and that makes me SO SAD.
This book was everything I never knew I wanted. It’s magical of course, but the dragons add so much more. Cyrene is still the most fierce, and everyone that makes up her tribe is still so loyal. The ending is heartbreaking and in true k.a. Linde form you are left hanging off a cliff with only your fingernails for support. But it’s always so worth it!!
