This is poorly formatted and lacks pictures to describe the story! Something that is I,portant for younger kids.
The original; not doctored
... but kind of sad in the ending; glad I read it on my own first instead of having first read it to the children. Sad-ending tale with a useful moral I might understand; this one's, though, seems to be "bad things happen to good people for no reason whatsoever", so I'd rather my children instead listen to anything in the very large audio library put out by Jim Weiss - those are also classics, AND fun.
Cute yet sad
I have played the game version of the story, but I also love the book! it's mAkes you want to cry but make you fall in love with the entire story characters and all
