The Stillness Within the Storm

Once upon a time, man and magic lived side by side, not quite at peace, not quite at war.

Those times are coming again.

War rages across Europe, its frontline spreading. The Sectatores, the cult of Morgana le Fae, are winning. Every day, they push back the armies of the Federated Nations, threatening the entire world.

Jennifer Banprionse is less concerned with the war than she is about escaping home and an arranged marriage when she volunteers with the Nursing Corps, the only option that lets her escape the narrow box society has set for her.

While the strange clouds to the east grow larger, Jen's days are plagued by memories, the storms of her childhood. Her nights are filled with dreams of places she's never been and people she's never met; including a man she knows better than herself. All she can see of him are his eyes, a blue that exactly matches the dark forget me nots found in England's forests.

As the turmoil within her rages, war looms closer when the Sectatores gain a foothold in England.
