You said I was your anchor, did you know you were my net?
The troubles we helped each other through are times I wont forget.
Never knew how close the edge was, you pulled me back and that was fine.
Said you didnt love me then, now you say it was there all the time.

Words hurt you said, you chose then carefully.
I finally responded, Whats left unsaid hurts more.

Shall I slip out to the gorge, loose gravel at the edge?
Wish upon my evening star and dance upon the ledge?
