Publisher Description
Madison Bergman goes to the only home she's known to recover from the death of her beloved uncle, Jonas Blackhorse. It is her hope that she be allowed to keep their summer cabin but since she doesn't have a drop of Native American blood it's doubtful. She just never thought she'd see the love of her life once again.
Lucas Bloodfeather has waited fifteen long years for Maddie to return to him. The tragic death of her uncle, and his mentor, sends her home after a long investigation into the mission, which exonerated her beyond any doubt. He has little time to prove to her they belong with each other.
Together they must forge the bond they had in youth and discover, home truly is where the heart resides.

More potential than anything else
Madison returns to her uncle’s cabin after his death, terrified that she will have to give it up because she is white and not Native American like her uncle. When Lucas Bloodfeather walked back into her life, the passion and desire that once existed between them reignites. Can they overcome their fears this time around?
I wanted to like this more than I did. This short novella left me wondering if it served as a prequel or sequel to another book. While the writing is good, the characters memorable, and the sex well done, I wanted to see more of Madison and Lucas and the development of their relationship. Potential conflicts are hinted at but the novella ends before they are reached. I was left wanting more. Too many plot points happened too quickly or were ignored for me to give this more than 3 stars. This is a shame because it had a lot of potential.
