Miss Letitia Swanley loves to flirt. She has no plans to marry. Lord Philip Cygnus is known as a rake. He has no intention on marrying. They are both swan shifters. Philip and Letitia enjoy flirting with each other during the Season at balls.
They look for each other at balls they attend. They enjoy stealing away for a quiet moment alone to flirt and to share a kiss. They hope they will not get caught. Unfortunately the odds are against them and they get caught together alone. They are forced to marry.
A forced marriage may not be the best beginning for a happy marriage. Philip realizes he has feelings for Letitia. He recognizes that this is why he was always drawn to Letitia. Will Letitia realize she has feelings for Philip? Philip is very sweet and considerate of Letitia. Philip is dashing and charming. They have a connection that they need to grasp. They have undeniable chemistry. Watching them realize their feelings and fall in love was delightful.
This is book four in the Shifter Season series. I enjoyed seeing the couples from previous books. I always enjoy seeing past characters involved in the present book. The story flowed from beginning to end. If you like historical Regency romances you will enjoy the added twist of shifters in the mix during the Season. I highly recommend this book and series. I enjoyed reading this book. It was a sweet romance with lots of fun moments. I’m enjoying this series of standalones and enjoying seeing all of the cameos by previous couples.

Great story
I am really enjoying this series by Laura Greenwood. I couldn't put it down. I loved the slow burn between Miss Letitia Swanley and Lord Philip Cygnus. They have been dancing around each other for months during the season. They didn't want to get married until one night when they are caught. Now, they have to get married. Can they make this marriage a real one?
