One of a kind story that MUST be told
The Swan Garden is a well written novel that brings the readers into the life of Alice as she grows and learns from her life experiences; starting as a naïve and innocent 14 year old little girl, and ending as an extremely brave young lady. This story will bring tears, anger, love, happiness, and ultimately satisfaction to readers of all genres. I was intrigued from page one and it never dimmed. The characters are well developed and the story reads smoothly. There isn’t a disappointing sentence in this entire book. I highly recommend this read to anyone with a heart.
The conditional love in this story will seem unbelievable; proving the ignorance of men in earlier times, the ignorance that caused the worst kind of hate. The unconditional love shares the perseverance possible with the combination of a mother’s loves and a woman’s strength. Biggs writes with immeasurable drama, giving just enough information readers need to feel true emotions on every page.
Overall, The Swan Garden is a very huge 5 Boundless star book. Ann Biggs is an extremely talented writer with a one of a kind story to tell, but one that MUST be told.
