A Wonderful Resource
The Swimsuit Lesson is a straight forward yet non-threatening approach to a very difficult subject. The story and illustrations are engaging. The parent notes in the back of the book help give parents the confidence and direction necessary to discuss a very important aspect of keeping children safe. I recommend this book highly, both as a counselor and mother of various ages. We have the hardback copy of The Swimsuit Lesson as well. A tough topic delivered with grace
I read The Swimsuit Lesson with my daughter a few nights ago. The book did a great job of raising awareness without being alarmist. A definite "must read" for people caring for young children.
