Joseph Battle, a registered nurse at Sylvania Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, has secretly loved his fellow colleague and best friend Mary Anderson since middle school. His dream of winning Mary’s heart is destroyed when she falls in love and marries the handsome new Neuro Surgeon, Dr. Devon Sotan.
